well…
the year is over and a new one begins.
hibernation has been my state of mind since Jan. 1st. where pjs and no makeup has been my everyday uniform and being completely lazy was an everyday thing.
Now that my last semester has started I have no choice but to get my ass out of bed and get to work. Since this is my last semester and I (fingers crossed) graduate in May, my workload has doubled.
Here’s hoping that I survive the semester and make it out alive.
Here’s also hoping I land a job by August!

Five reasons why October will be awesome!
- My birthday…on halloween! Can’t get anymore awesome than that!
- Fall! Which means tons of layering and tons of scarves to wear!
- Pumpkin spice latte it up at Starbucks! Have to get our insides all warm!
- Cozy nights with a loved one (best friend, boyfriend, mom who cares) movies in bed, cuddling, lots of pillows and a down comforter. HELLO!
- Leaves are going to start falling and it will be beautiful. So just look at the beauty around you.

Ok folks now this is serious!
We all know I love me some Starbucks…and heck yea I’m a gold card member!
We also know that when we see Starbucks we see this…
And now they have decided to change the logo….or rather modernize it…
I’m not too thrilled with the change to be honest. I don’t like change at all. But I will say that it does look modern. The Starbucks Coffee logo is on the back in black apparently.
IDK you guys…Many don’t like the change. Will the CEO go forward with the change or listen to its customers and keep the logo it already had? Food for thought!

well somewhat free..lol. Damian left to Tennesse for a friends wedding. Unfortunately I couldn’t go. BOO! But he’ll be with a couple of his Army buddies which will be good for him.
So I decided this weekend will be all about me! Rest, relaxation and just doing nothing!!! So far it’s been greatttt!
I’ve played video games, slept in, grabbed myself some starbucks (pumpkin spice latte, tis the season!), spent time with my mom, and am catching up on all my missed shows from the week!
Modern Family, Greys Anatomy, Parenthood, Private Practice, Better with you, Project Runway and Brothers and sisters!! GOTTA CATCH UP AHHH!!
Have to throw in some homework in there to balance it all out. BLEH.

today had to have been one of the best days in a while. My mother and I spent some much needed mother daughter time, pretty much most of the day. We went on our third day shopping excursion to a new place we’ve never been to. It was really nice to spend the time with her, great conversation and great company. The most surprising part was that I only bought myself one thing, a pack of hanes tshirts (ha!, I’m serious too), well actually two items if you include my iced tea lemonade from starbucks (my go to daily summer drink). Of course my mom on the other hand came out with a few bags. HAHA! Happy Monday everyone!
